Well the first part of the week unfortunately for me was a bit of a wash out as I became rather green round the paws and was unwell for a few days .... but I am now back to my mousely self ..lol
sooo grab your cuppa's you know where the biscuits are and sit back and enjoy the waffle heheheh ;0
Well as you know I won Edgar's blog give away of some Christmas DVD's and they safely arrived this Saturday along with some very yummy Hawaiian jelly beans :) I managed to keep hold of both packets for a wee while, while I photographed them before the DD's wanted to try some *sigh ...lol . I had to go up to the post office to pick it up sooo took a wee detour around the charity shops and came away with a couple of bargains too ....:)
A while ago .. Rhona did a tutorial on a jar lid and I despaired on finding a jar to do it wellllll ..... http://tangledthreadsstitching.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/tutorial would you believe I found the kilner (mason ) jar in two places in one day !!!!! for those in the UK I got mine at Morrisons but they were also in Wilkinsons too .... I couldn't believe my little eyes hehehehe .... guess what I will be having a go at soon ..lol
Jo of serendipitous stitching fame is also having a give away of some
cross stitch charts sponsored by Yiota for getting up to 250 followers .... soo please join in the fun and follow her too in the process but one of the prizes is mine ok ;) hahahahah
I was commissioned by Maureen to make the Solar System that she stitched for her DS into a pillow slip and thankfully he loves it ..lol so photo can now be shown too :)
Julie the flower is a peony :0
Joyze I've popped photo in of my beaded loran for you to have a nose at too :)
mmmmm think that was all on the must tell you front, sooo now the stitching part hehehe
As you know I have been stitching away merrily on a secret project for DJ and I finally have got it to a point where I was happy to let her have a look at it and choose whether she wanted to frame it or for me to make it into a cushion ... well after measuring it .... it will be framed heheheh .... we share the same love of lighthouses and the sea and I spent ages with Ally last year when she was down looking for this chart and eventually found it after turning the craft room upside down .... soooo the photo will be below for you to nose at as usual :)
Thursday stitching was at the mouse house and unfortunately I was unable to make some yummy buns as my cooker has decided to give up the ghost ....I had to buy some in ..... so I am now on the look out for a new one that will fill the large space and isn't very expensive ......
Friday I got up and thought today I am going to get my finishes framed and armed and dangerous with a cuppa and my framing stuff got ..... the threadgathering , the rain fell and the tea room done whoop whoop .... now all I need is a bigger house and more wall space ...lol
Saturday I did hermit abit but did more on Sunday even though DH and I took Master Bentley to Cannon hall park and while I was there I took a few photos as I am apt to do so I will let you drool over them as well heheheh
Sally is feeling a bit better from her op and has stitched soo much she has asked if we want to start our sal earlier than we thought of the LHN / Shakespeare's pedlar collaboration soooo I agreed of course, but I needed to sort some fabric out for it as it calls for two different colours of 32 count fabric AGHHHHHHHH was the cry that went up as I got my box of fabric out and it was in a complete mess and at first I thought I was going to have to coffee dye some but ....... I got the ironing board out and started to sort out all the fabric out and into piles of hand dyed , 25 count, coloured , 28 count whites , neutrals etc etc etc .... (photo to prove it .lol) and then I found some 32 count in the correct colour as near as snurff it to what the pattern requires YIPPPEEEE .... I then got some boxes that I had got earlier for the purpose and put them in so that I can now find stuff much easier ......
the down side to this is I now have to sort out the room too *sigh ho hum, keeps me out of mischief ;)
I also sorted out some fabric for the papillions around the world SAL and how does your garden grow ..... just need to sort out the floss for it, which I have already started to pull some out I like ... and do a floss toss ..... watch this space ..lol
Well DD has just made you all another cuppa .... so I shall go and sort the photos out for you to drool over :) brb ......

The frame for 'The Rain Fell' is fabulous, i've been looking for one for my recent finish... and... i have the tea room sitting framed on my conservatory table.
The solar cushion is amazing.
Looks like a nice place to visit, plenty of space for a four legged rascal to run around in and have fun.
Hello Mouse!

It is so wonderful to get things finished and framed. Do you rearrange your walls all the time?
Bentley makes me smile :) what a sweetpea!
Thanks for the lovely garden pics. Cannon Hall is lovely.
How funny...your ORT jar looks exactly like mine!!!
I really should go through my fabric drawers and sort them. SO MANY of mine are unmarked ~ shame on me!
Oh you have such a beautiful sight outside your craft room. And your peonies! grr I have only white ones so far. What a great place to walk and let Bentley enjoy himself. You had a large organization job to do with that fabric, good for you. :)

Goodness me, I didn't know you had to go through all that upheaval to find the pattern for me, but I must say, I love what you've done so far!! I hope your craft room is finally back in good order...LOL Can't wait to see your new project and so happy you were able to find fabric for it in your stash! Ooooh!! Lots and lots to drool over!!! Where to start?! First off. What's a loran? Whatever it is, it's pretty! Love the peonies...ooh and Bentley...give him a big hug and kiss for me. I so adore him!! Yay for finding a mason jar! I actually am almost finishing my ort jar (need to find some better glue) using Rhona's tutorial. I wanted it done for this Tusal, but I will for next one!! Look at those linens!! OH MY!! I didn't realize that the photo was sideways and thought you had them hanging up like in a shop!! Gorgeous arches. You have such a lovely country to explore with all those old castles and halls and arches!! Grats winning Edgar's giveaway! Lovely framed pieces too...I think I got it all...one more hug to Bentley! Okay I'm done!!
Hugs
Lovely photos Mouse, as usual. I really like both DJ's pressie and The Rain Fell. They're both especially lovely. Bently looks fab as always, and I love the I've got a stick piccy, lol. Glad you got all your framing done, and I totally understand your need for more wall space. I'm gonna run into that problem eventually too. I've got lots of BAPs in progress, so I need more wall space. (And my mom laments because none of them match each other or my furniture. It always makes me lol. I don't care if they match!!) Glad you're feeling better too. It's no fun being sick. The Peonies are gorgeous. I wish I could have more flowers. And what did you work on for IHSW? I didn't see any progress piccys... Or did I? I guess it was DJ's gift? And grats on the win from Edgar. He's such a nice guy. You and he probably have a lot in common, as he stitches the same types of things you stitch. Hope you're having a good week Mouse!!
Busy, busy week. Glad to hear that you're feeling better - there does seem to be an early summer bug going around. Beautiful stitching and sewing. The peony is amazing - definitely something I want in my future flower garden (I have BIG plans)
You have been very busy indeed, Mouse! Glad you're feeling better.
Love the view from your craft room and aren't those peonies glorious! Ours are still in the bud stage, but I'm so looking forward to them blooming - and no rain or wind to knock the petals off!!!
Love all your stitching and framing, I don't know how you manage to get so much done in a week....do you sleep at all?!! Glad you managed to find one of those wee jars - looking forward to seeing it finished.
Mouse is one very busy Mouse! Good to hear that you are feeling better now - nothing worse than feeling a wee bit green around the gills! Love your pics. Bentley is one happy puppy isn't he! Love your stitching too :o) The solar system pillow is great. Great TUSAL photo :o)
Fireflies & Cats in the Garden
Your peonies are gorgeous! Every year it seems like mine bloom and then we get heavy rain and strong winds and that's the end of their beauty! Loving all the stitchy things (esp all that fabric that you ironed!!!) you have been busy !
