Good news , Travelling pattern and some stitching :)

Hi everyone :) see I was back a wee bit quicker this time ...lol ... pull up a chair and get comfy with your favourite brew ... I have chocolate brownies :) 
Well the good news is tomorrow the 16th of June we will finally own the new house after much problems with the mortgage company not communicating with its staff !!! we finally got the monies at the Solicitors Friday afternoon soooo a wee bit later than we expected we pick the keys up but WAHHHH HOOOOO ... I can start to get ideas for my new craft room in place for when we begin to make it to our tastes :)
I put all the names into a tub who wanted the Travelling Pattern and got my DD1 to pick one out and she chose Dani :) can you email me your snail mail address so that I can get it into the post for you by the weekend ... I can only get to the post office now once a week with me working full time ... 
This last weekend I have been tres busy with the sweetie shop as DH and future SIL have been down on the Isle of Wight doing the fire cover for the stars helicopters so there has only been a wee bit of stitching managed ....Chris came to help us out and she did manage to get a bit more done on her piece than I did ...lol 
Any hooo .... I have almost finished the May  Country Cottage Samplings chart and I have got the February one to Kit up ... so pleased with my progress , I have also been working on a tapestry for one of my service users who can't stitch on it any more sooo I have got over half of it done for her just doing an hour here and an hour there ... it is soooo different from the normal stitching but at the same time quite relaxing too :)
Last week it was MiiStitch's birthday and I stitched her a wee pincushion from La d da its better to give than receive and she loved it PHEW .... I was also going to do the same piece for Butterfly  but decided to send her some lovely coordinating trims for her birthday and had to giggle as Sally  had stitched her the same one .... great minds and all that ...lol
We have been having some horrendous down pour this last week and there has been lots of local flooding in the space of five mins ....  it has been warm with it as well we could have had a shower outside ...lol ... I have managed to get some flower photos and you can see the drizzle drops on them if you look closely :)
I will bob the kettle on again for a quick drink before bed .... while I get the photos on for you :)

HI Peeps :) the kettle has just boiled and a fresh brew in the pot ... if you rummage around you may even find a dunker or two ....
Well this last week or two has been rather different to say the least ..lol ....  I came back from my travels as you know when on the Tuesday I had pain in my left side that sort of got steadily worse .... well me being me thought it will go away ... unfortunately it didn't so this last Tuesday I managed to get an appointment with the Dr for the afternoon ... sooo me being me sat and enjoyed the sunshine that we had and had an impromptu stitching day and managed to get the Travelling Pattern that we are doing over on the Friendly Stitchers finished  and on its merry way to the next person :) and that was even with a couple of mouse naps ...lol 
sooo the Dr's outcome after he had prodded and poked and peeled me off the ceiling ...lol ....  I seem to have another Kidney stone (Walter is the one I have had for years which hasn't moved )and this new one ... think I am going to call it Rolling !!! heheheheh ....   My very nice Dr gave me some pills and I am now right as rain .... ok ok not quite there yet but .....
I have also been been busy with the needle most nights for an hour or two stitching  on La D Da's a bushel and a peck and I am really enjoying working on it now even after I have made a wee boo boo .... and you will need magnifiers to spot it .... mind you it would help if I had taken the latest photo in focus ...hahahah ... It was taken just before I came on here to waffle to you all ... I will take another properly ... and also I have done some more on my Rosie by LHN as well .... 
oooooooo I almost forgot a couple of things ... one it was Mothers Day here across the pond in the UK last Sunday and I got some beautiful flowers and some sweetie shop sweets and a lovely necklace and an IOU on a lantern I have seen ....  not allowed to get that until we have the new mouse house which paws crossed is going through ok :)
The other is  The Primative Hare  is having a wee competition ... I really shouldn't be telling you this though as I would love to win it heheheh , she has designed a perfect chart for all us stitchers and we can stitch it and make it up how we want and the winner will be chosen .. sooo I just had to buy the chart and I have worked out how I am going to finish it off and now all I need to do is get it started ..... watch this space ...lol 
The days are rolling by soooo fast I can't keep up with them and I feel like I am on the Magic Faraway Tree with all the different lands up at the top ... mind you I would love to be able to slide down the slide they have in the tree ...lol 
DD1 and I saw the most fabulous rendition of this book in a painting and would love to be able to splash out on it but at £895.00 its just a wee bit out of our pocket money range ...lol... see the link above to see her work ...

lazy hazy nights of stitching :)

hi every one :) glad to see you are all still there on the other side of the screen ...:) the kettle is on for those who want a cuppa  and also some cold drinks are in the fridge .
well as you can see I have finally manged to get on to DH's computor ... he is watching a film so I had better type fast ...lol 
first of all before I show you all the finishes and yes there is more than one ...lol 
my friend Bev has joined the blogging world so could you pop over if you haven't already found her and say hello :) and  Stitching Peanut is looking for a chart ...so I said I would bob it on here to see if any one can help she is looking for the prairie schooler  oop #34 New world sampler to borrow or whatever ....

ok here I go.... are you ready for this  ... I have participated in the Friendly Stitchers  Christmas in July exchange/ challenge and I actually managed to get the three done that I had set my self .. two have already been received one to my partner Ravensong and one to Gillie  and the third is awaiting posting so I can't show you that one just yet ..... but I can show you the one I got from Raven song and she also sent me a couple of her own hand dyed threads which are gorgeous .. can't wait to try them out ... I have found a pattern I want to use for one of them :)
I have also finished the Sal with Sally Gentle Stitches .... part of the collaboration with LHN and Shakespeares Peddler , we had stitched the LHN part last year ... and I am sorry to have got round to finishing it as I have loved both parts so much so I think when I go to the Nimble Thimble on Friday I shall get the threads again :)
We have started another one with Lainey.... Curly Q and I will show you how far I have got with that one ... I have also worked on the Friendship Blooms Sal with DJ and Babs this week too ....
what is the plural of a sal then ???? one sal two sal three sals ???? heheheh 
Then I got France's RR and started and finished it in one day .... I had to stitch it the  opposite way to how I normally stitch and some one told me a trick to turn the fabric and the chart 90* and it works ..... see photos below ...lol ... I just had to pick one of my favorite colours  and stitched Seahorse no 5 
I have also got DJ's RR but haven't started it yet , I have got a few days off after Wednesday so I will tackle it then ... it is gorgeous and I want to be able to stitch on it in good day light and when my eyes are not tired :)
Bev as from above ...lol and Chris came to the mouse house on Thursday and we had a lovely night nattering and drinking lots of cuppas and did lots of stitching .... I worked on Dandy Dreams and was soooooo close to a finish I did finish it on Friday Whoop WHoop .... a few down and a zillion and one more to go hahahahah ....
oooo DH has just made a cuppa ... any one for another ????
I took Master Bentley up to the woods last weekend and took some photos of the blue bells that are covering the ground at the moment ... it had rained the night before and the smell from the flowers was gorgeous .... the birds were chirping away merrily and the cuckoo kept cookkooing  throughout the walk ... and we didn't meet a soul ..... it was sooo peaceful and there was just a gentle breeze floating around making the leaves dance gently as we pootled past.
I have also been taking some photos of the flowers in my garden ....
Vickie my peonies have bloomed so I have took a couple of photos for you :)
Today was another lovely day so we got lots of things washed and blowing on the line while in between sorting it all out, I worked on my Ladybugs by LHN and I am about 3/4 of the way to finishing it :) I have altered it slightly as we spell travelling with two L's and also I have added a the in there to make it scan better, for me at any rate .... this is one of last years crazies so I shall be pleased when it is done too .... I want to try and get some more finished but peeps keep bringing out lovely chart to stitch heheheh ....and I am off, as I said earlier to the Nimble Thimble again this Friday ... any one want anything ...lol luckily for me I have a few pennies saved up ... so there could be just a wee bit of baskitis going on heheheheh ....
