As busy as a Spring Bee

Hellooo every one ... I hope this finds you all well and not toooo thirsty from the lack of cuppa's recently ...lol ... but the kettle is on now and I have cookies .... soo pull up a chair and join me for a feast of spring photos and some stitching to boot too ...lol
OOO where to start .... well my wee car is back fixed and sporting a new bumper and I am happy to have it back ... as the rental car and I eventually got on it was nice to have mine back ....
I am almost back to my normal cream crackered state hheheheheheh .... My shoulder is still giving me problems, but less as time goes on .... I am doing part time at work and loving it to be honest and I am allowed to continue with my new hours as well ... so I get to work at 10.00am and leave at 3.00pm which is after rush hour traffic and before the home rush hour too ... so no long queues whoop .. and to top it all I have lost just over two stone too .... :)
I have been busy stitching and finished my section on Gillies and Frances's RR and managed to drive there to Frances's to hand deliver them the weekend before last weekend... (hope that makes sense ..lol) ... it was  lovely to see Frances and enjoy her wonderful hospitality too ... I even managed to get a few photos of her wee birdie visitors to her garden too :)
I stitched and made up the Spring Sampler Drum Keep that I showed you in the last post from Dulaney Woods Treasures and boy was I impressed I managed that ...lol ....
I have stitched a wee gift for someone ... which I can show as the photo doesn't show who its for and as they don't know they are going to get it either .. win win .. hahahah  and I loved it so much I am doing the same design for myself too ... just need to get it started ... I have finished a second Thread Keeper by LHN for myself just need to make it up .... coooo can't you tell I have had time to stitch hahahahah and I have even dug out the Melicent Turner Sampler by LHN ... yes that one I started many moons ago and have enjoyed re stitching on her today ....  soooo you can see I have been a wee busy bee ...lol
I went for a wee tootle today and managed to grab a few photos of the first wee duckling I have seen this year .... it is soooo adorable ...lol
Annddd I have been sorting my room out a bit more and I can now sit down there again hahahahahah......  can only do a wee bit at a time ... so it won't be an over night fix ... ( read farrrr tooooo much stash ... NOT ...lol) I have been kitting up charts as I have been going along too .. don't seem to have made even a wee dint in my stash .lol
I have  been perusing the quilting magazines and think I have finally decided on what I am going to do with my birthday squares ... soooo hopefully soon I will be able to show you the start of it :)
okkk I am thirsty again ... so I shall make another brew .. and get the photos ready for you

Sooo there you go folks ... brews up and there are more cookies .... I am going  to bob round a wee bit more now I can actually type with out it hurting .. :) so watch out heheheh ....
I have also found out some charts that I am going to sell too, so as soon as I have got my act together I will bob a page up on here .... will post to anywhere and I have paypal ...lol ....
I think that is all for now .... hope you all have been busy stitching too ... take care one and all and will squeak to you all again soon :)

So wonderful to catch up with you. Good for you working less hours, but most of all for losing a lot of weight! Yay!

Beautiful finishes, Mouse, but it's the photo of the swan on the canal that I love most. It's looks like it was taken professionally or perhaps even painted! I think it needs to be framed...

Congratulations on loosing the weight, my total for around 6 weeks is 5lb, lol.
I'm rubbish at it lately.

Lots of lovely birdies you have captured with your camera.
Nice stitching.
Good news you miss the rush hour traffic on you commute to work with the new hours

The cookies have earned your forgiveness!
Lovely stitching, such a sweet gift but it's not my Birthday until September LOL. Talking of which, pop over to my blog to see how I am celebrating that in blogland.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with the quilt blocks now.

Some lovely stitching. Being able to miss the rush hour traffic going to and from work helps make the working day easier.
