Flying needles and sticky tape ..lol

Hi folks hope this finds you all well and enjoying this wonderful sunshine we have been blessed with these last few days . I'm writing this while all my windows are open, the washing is flapping in the wee breeze that's about and I've  got some peace and quiet ..lol :)
well where do i start ????? I have finally caught up to where Abi had got to on our stitch along with "the embroideress" and i must say that this piece when finally done will be stunning ... just not overly pleased with the charts that we both have ... we bought this kit a long while back and the charts have lots of information missing so its a case of scratching our heads and making a "we'll go with this " kind of decision. Any ways here is my progress up to date :
the first picture is the whole lot so far and the 2nd one is a close up of the bit at the bottom ;0
was so pleased with what i'd achieved i decided to do a new start and guess what i chose ??????????

Yep you guessed it the Celtic Autumn :) by lavender and Lace

I started it last Sunday night and I'm stitching it on a
piece of Polstichers fabric Fallen Leaves ....it is an absolute dream to work with hence the "flying needles as you will see from my  progress pictures ..lol  . the first picture was taken on the Monday and the 2nd was taken on Wednesday and I've done a wee bit more since then ..lol
I will keep you updated as I go along ... the colours are the alternative ones which are for me more like "proper" Autumnal ones ... my eldest dd keeps cracking the whip so that I get it finished soon and then she wants me to start on the Winter one !!!
I did some work on the last of my humbugs (set of three for my bedroom) as my UFO nights work on Thursday night so by next week it should be finished ready to sew up and stuff and then I will post a photo of them all done :)

Where does the sticky tape come into the scheme of things I hear you puzzling ;) well as some of you know DJ is having a bit of a rough time of it at present so I made her a get well card and sent it to her and as she's got it and loves it I can share it with you all now .
And finally I was sat in my little craft room the other day as the rain was coming down onto my lovely flowers, I went out to capture my patio rose while it still had some rain drops on it .... ( it was still raining as I went out too ..lol).Well i shall leave you all for now and go and get some more stitching done ... sigh its a hard life being a stitching mouse!!!! teehee  xxxxxxxx

Hey, Mouse!
Love the choices you've made with your embroideries. Lovely job. And talk about flying needles? Whew - not that's some swift stitching. Do love your colors, too. I'm sure DJ loves the care, it is precious!! Such a pretty rose... Enjoy your sunny days, and keep that needle flying!

Wow, Mouse! You really do have flying needles, are they smoking yet? Love the picture of the rose with the rain drops on it, makes it look like you can reach out and touch it!! The Embroideress is looking fabulous!! I wish I could see it in person, because in my opinion, pictures never do our stitching justice. It looks amazing now, I can only imagine how stunning it would be in person!! I can't believe the progress in your Celtic Autumn!! She's going to be a stunner too. Thanks again for my card, it looks so professional!! I really do love it!! *Hugs*
