Well as the title says I have been stitching, one being my RR ... more on that later and I stitched a wee gift for Junes birthday and got it to her on time phew .. I also included some pink gifts as I said to her she was a pink kinda lady ...lol I stitched her Needles and Pins pinchusion by Homespun Elegance on pink 28 count evenweave using a threadworks thread in guess what.... pink and green and finished it off with pink ribbon and pink pins .... and I love it soooo much I might have to do the same for me too ...lol
Soooo that pesky RR ... on Tuesday Chris came to the mouse house for a change to get her Master Bentley fix and to see the craft room improvements ( still working on it ... its like the never ending story ..lol) and I got my RR out ( littlehouseneigbourhood by LHN) and started to carry on with the brown part of the border .... I got to one of the houses and thought hmmmmmm and looked again and said hmmmmm again, I seemed to be one thread out ... yup one wee pesky thread out ..... well I looked and looked and Chris checked too and we both agreed to the spot where it had unfortunately gone whoops ...which was a quarter of the border back !!!!!! .. there was nothing for it but to do reverse stitching ... sooo in between the cuppas and carrot cake I unpicked and started to restitch the border again ... but ....while checking that, I realised I had stitched part of the wording one stitch down in a couple of places ... it was almost like an advert for " mouse should have gone to spec savers " ...lol and after I found that I couldn't leave it ... so it had to come out ....and it has now been restitched back in and I am working on the leaves of the border and so far all is well PHEWWWWW ..... When I have finally finished it I will be pulling the threads and fabric for the chart I got from Butterfly last week and will get it stitched toot suite ...
I recieved a lovely surprise in the post the other day .... Kim from http://wisdomwithneedleandthread.blogspot.co.uk/ is celebrating a big birthday this year too ... and little did I know it, but I was chosen as one of the 60 RAK recepients that she is sending out . She stitched me a gorgeous pinkeep from LHN one of the sheep virtues series and rouched it beautifully along with some threads and fabric and a journal which was written by her and has some of her gorgeous paintings in it ...
I realised when I had finished my last post I had missed out photos of the Jane Austin goodies I got and also of James Braxton ..lol
I took a walk down by the canal the other day and my wee cygnets were there again ... they have grown an awful lot as little ones do but there is a definite difference between the older ones and my wee baby ... he actually doesn't look like the others either with a shorter neck ...see the photos ..lol , the parents don't seem to mind me photo ing them either... which is a good job really ..lol

What a great selfie! Lovely cygnets, and you have a pied wagtail. http://www.rspb.org.uk/discoverandenjoynature/discoverandlearn/birdguide/name/p/piedwagtail/index.aspx
Jane Austen, baby birds and a selfie ! What a great post!
Mouse, my dear, you are in danger of making everyone is stitchingland appear on your doorstep. :) We all want a Master Bentley fix...and a cuppa.... and a walk... and a rummage through your stash. LOL
Good luck with your email verification battle--- I fear I'm one of the throw-your-hands-up and walk away sorts.
Such lovely photos, I adore Bath, cute birds, nice to see you too x
Lovely post, Mouse. Your Jane Austen treasures and those from the Makery are outstanding. So happy you like your gifts. I'd love to be to pop in for a cuppa....I'm sure we'd have so much fun, our faces would hurt from laughing.

Lovely post. What kind of bird is that under Master Bentley? Love the range - turned out great!
Aww, the baby cygnet is precious. The range is awesome. Bath must have been wonderful.
So nice to put a face to a name Mouse, what a lovely post :)
I'm finding it hard to comment on this post - it's all awesome! It's great watching the cygnets grow through your camera lens, your gifts given and received are beautiful, and I'm a sucker for Master Bentley's handsome face. Thanks for sharing!
Wow beautiful photos , wonderful stitching , love my gifts thank you.
And who is that pretty woman in the last photo.
Lovely photos from your part of the world, Mouse! I am a sucker for any cute animal/bird babies :) So nice to see your latest projects--that fabric organization turned out great and is something I should be doing myself!
It looks like it might be a pied wagtail - they are quite small birds and their tail bobs up and down when they move around.
Sorry to hear about the drunken stitching! One thread out is so annoying!
Lovely nature photos once again and a great day out with Jane.
I'm afraid the only solution to your comment problem is to stop using Yahoo. Blogger simply refuses to accept emails from Yahoo people. It's part of their cunning plan to make us all use Gmail.
That's a really great selfie! Love your photos of the Jane Austen museum - must visit one day! That fabric you got from the Makery is gorgeous. Enjoy your goodies from Kim! :D
Wonderful photos. Glad you found the mistake, it would of been so annoying. Great gifts. Love the organisation. It's nice to see you Mouse. :)
It is a pied wagtail. I have just come back from my hols and I saw one of these in the field scurrying about. Don't seem to have the in my part of the country so I had to look it up.
Lovely, chatty post - so loved to catch up on your news - stitchy and otherwise. Great selfie!
So many wonderful pictures of your adventures in life! They are all so great, but the Lithograph with the words from Pride and Prejudice made me go back and check it out again!! That is too too cool! Good to see Master Bentley and you!! Hugs!
Hello Sweet Mouse,
OOhhh. Look at the rain pitching down in your part of the world!! Oh My
Goodness. Um .... do you think that you could perhaps send some along
to us. We don't mind second hand at all. It's been so hot and so dry here
in our part of Southern Ontario and our gardens don't care for it at all. We
had a bit of rain over night but not much and not nearly enough ... so we're
reduced to begging for handouts. Thank you.
I love your bird pictures. I see that your mystery bird has been identified
as a pied wagtail. Neat. So is the little guy signet a swan or something
else masquerading as a swan? So cute, either way. That other bird with
the red on it's face and yellow on it's wing is gorgeous! Do you know
what it is?
Sorry to hear about all your ... issues .... with LHN Neighbourhood. Borders
are always a pain. But once you've identified a problem it seems you just
have to fix it or it'll haunt you forever. Sigh! Yes, I do speak from
experience. In any case, it's looking wonderful.
My goodness but you got such beautiful things from Kim in the RAK that
she sent to you. How thoughtful. A friendship to treasure forever for
sure.
I'm intrigued by the glimpse of your craft room. More please. Love
how you're displaying your fabrics. They do look grand like that.
Love your selfie Mouse. It's so nice to see you.
And enjoyed the pictorial tour of the Jane Austin museum. Mr Darcy is a bit
... um .... more mature then I had imagined him to be. Hmmmm.
Your gift for June is so pretty. Love that variegated thread you used for it.
Bet she's thrilled with it.
By for now Mouse. Take care.
A post filled with lovely things including the selfie of you, that is lovely.
A pretty gift for June and wonderful wildlife you have captured with the camera. Master Bentley does make a wonderful model.
Nice Jane goodies that fell into your bag.
