Well this last week or two has been rather different to say the least ..lol .... I came back from my travels as you know when on the Tuesday I had pain in my left side that sort of got steadily worse .... well me being me thought it will go away ... unfortunately it didn't so this last Tuesday I managed to get an appointment with the Dr for the afternoon ... sooo me being me sat and enjoyed the sunshine that we had and had an impromptu stitching day and managed to get the Travelling Pattern that we are doing over on the Friendly Stitchers finished and on its merry way to the next person :) and that was even with a couple of mouse naps ...lol
sooo the Dr's outcome after he had prodded and poked and peeled me off the ceiling ...lol .... I seem to have another Kidney stone (Walter is the one I have had for years which hasn't moved )and this new one ... think I am going to call it Rolling !!! heheheheh .... My very nice Dr gave me some pills and I am now right as rain .... ok ok not quite there yet but .....
I have also been been busy with the needle most nights for an hour or two stitching on La D Da's a bushel and a peck and I am really enjoying working on it now even after I have made a wee boo boo .... and you will need magnifiers to spot it .... mind you it would help if I had taken the latest photo in focus ...hahahah ... It was taken just before I came on here to waffle to you all ... I will take another properly ... and also I have done some more on my Rosie by LHN as well ....
oooooooo I almost forgot a couple of things ... one it was Mothers Day here across the pond in the UK last Sunday and I got some beautiful flowers and some sweetie shop sweets and a lovely necklace and an IOU on a lantern I have seen .... not allowed to get that until we have the new mouse house which paws crossed is going through ok :)
The other is The Primative Hare is having a wee competition ... I really shouldn't be telling you this though as I would love to win it heheheh , she has designed a perfect chart for all us stitchers and we can stitch it and make it up how we want and the winner will be chosen .. sooo I just had to buy the chart and I have worked out how I am going to finish it off and now all I need to do is get it started ..... watch this space ...lol
The days are rolling by soooo fast I can't keep up with them and I feel like I am on the Magic Faraway Tree with all the different lands up at the top ... mind you I would love to be able to slide down the slide they have in the tree ...lol
DD1 and I saw the most fabulous rendition of this book in a painting and would love to be able to splash out on it but at £895.00 its just a wee bit out of our pocket money range ...lol... see the link above to see her work ...
Ok doke I had better go and pop the kettle on again while I pop some photos up ... I managed to get some gorgeous shots of Master Bentley on Tuesday in the sunshine ....

Gorgeous flowers, so sorry about the pain, sounds awful. Fingers crossed and prayers for all the house stuff.
Lovely flowers and gorgeous stitching. I adore the slippery slip and would demand google buns if I managed to find the Faraway tree for real lol. Hope you feel better soon x
Sorry to hear that you haven't been well...hope you're on the mend and that those pesky kidney stones (love that you name them!) disappear quickly.
Beautiful stitching and wonderful Mother's Day goodies.
Oh goodness! I hope Walter and Rolling get out for good. Take good care. Your stitching is really coming along. Such lovely flowers.
Lovely stitching, very nice gifts, and of course, wonderful photos of the very handsome Mr. Bentley!!!!! So happy to hear you feel better. My DD had a kidney stone many years ago, it was NOT fun.

Congrats on the finish Mouse and lovely stitching on the other pieces.

What is it with kidneystones all of a sudden? You are the third blogger I read who has one! Oh my gosh, I hope you don't have much more pain involved. I've heard it's terribly painful. :( I love your January finish and the flowers and the Mother's Day goodies -- everything! Feel better.
Ooouchies...kidney stones are so painful. I hope it will pass soon for you! Wonderful mother's day goodies! Those flowers sure lasted a while!! Love the colours in that bouquet! The CC sampling is beautiful on the pink fabric. Master Bentley is dapper as usual! Give him a snuggle for me! Hugs!!
Hope that kidney stone has gone. Beautiful flowers. Wonderful WIPs. A gorgeous, posing Master Bentley. :)
I would love that picture of the faraway tree too was my favourite book as a child. It was read to me at school and I read it to my kids and grand kids. Sorry about the kidney stone hope your new house is sorted soon
Hugs
Hope you are continuing to feel better.
I love the monthly Country Cottage Sampling designs. Do I really need another monthly series? LOL
Looks like you were nicely spoiled on Mother's Day too.
I hope you are feeling a lot better now. Lovely stitching and your flowers are gorgeous
Oooh, I feel for you having kidney stones! Ouch!!! I do hope that "Rolling" gets along with "Walter" and they don't fight too much :o)
Love your flowers! And your stitching... and you can't go past the lovely pics of Bentley! :o)
But I did spy a card in the background with a cute Mitzi dog on it! :o)
Hugs xx
Sorry to hear you have been feeling unwell - hope Rolling is behaving himself!
Loving the travelling pattern so far - must get on with mine.
It looks as though your family spoiled you on Mother's Day. The flowers are beautiful
Lovely stitching and cute Bentley pics.
I hope you are feeling better. That is such a painful condition.
Margaret
Hope you feel better soon - love your title a Lizzie Kate design I think! x
Lovely stitching. Your flowers are gorgeous.
Having had 3 or 4 kidney stones, I TOTALLY understand your pain Michelle. They are no fun at all. It looks as though you were treated semi-royally (as you should have been) on Mothering Sunday. The flowers are lovely. Master Bentley is most handsome. I hope you are feeling much better. Wasn't "January's Snowdrop" a fun stitch. I have it out in a pile of items I'd like to get framed this year.
What a pretty finish and pretty WIPs, too! I certainly am glad you're feeling better - kidney stones sound horrendous but like always, you are so good natured, you actually name them. And, you don't give them names like "Killer" or something hateful.
Lovely flowers for Mother's Day - and a happy belated one to you!
I hope your new kidney stone does not cause you any trouble. Hope you are feeling much better.
Lots of lovely photos and stitching :)
HI there! Hopefully by NOW, your new kidney stone has totally diminished and you are feeling right as rain! So many blogs to catch up on, so I am a wee bit behind... As always, enjoyed your post. Bentley has such an expressive face, doesn't he? A little progress is better than NO progress... your WIP's are looking great! Hugs!
I hope that your kidney stones are behaving themselves. Gorgeous, gorgeous stitching Mouse.
