well at the mouse house today it dawned lovely , bright and sunny but with a definite nip of frost in the air .... although someone ought to tell the birds it isn't quite spring yet ... they have turfed all the moss out of my stones on my patio ... that doesn't normally happen for another month or so......
I had a funny turn today and decided to take down the decorations and have a wee spruce up with help from DD1 .... well all got done.... and then my back decided to have a fall out with me and has given me a lot of back chat since :( soo I shall keep this short .. for me at any rate hahaha
Day two of the crazies dawned this afternoon with CherryWoods designs Scissors .... stitched on 28 count weeks dye works beige gingham fabric with Cranberry gast thread ... I actually love stitching on this fabric and glad I've got another couple to do on it ....
so with out further yacking here is my today's progress
Cherry wood designs Scissors :) |
I have also had my first finish of the year .....whoop whoop .... and I am making it up atm .. unfortunately I can't show you as it has to go on its travels first ;)
so once it has got to where it should be I will show you all :)
ok I am going to scoot off and put the kettle on and get into a more comfy seat and hope my back starts talking nicely to me soon ..lol
take care and squeak to you all tomorrow :)

I feel for you with a bad back. I have one too and nothing feels as bad.
Blessings!
I'm so sorry that your back is misbehaving. Make sure it knows that you have *lots* of stitching to do for the next few weeks!! I love your new start! You fast stitcher, you!! I made a Mouse card yesterday and thought of you. It will probably wing its way to the Mouse House soon! : )
Ouch! Hope the back behaves soon!

Hope your back is feeling better soon. Mine has been yelling at me recently too. Love the new start -- so much fun on the gingham!
Mouse, I do hope your back recovers quickly! Great start on scissors, it's gonna be purty for sure!
Love the cranberry color on the gingham fabric! I have to agree with you, I love stitching on the gingham fabric, it makes counting stitches so much easier. I just wish it came in 35 or 36 count instead of just 28.
I just bought two small pieces of gingham yesterday.....the LNS that I went to had everything 20% off. I found a small piece of pink & a small piece of blue...I am SURE I have a pattern around here somewhere that uses gingham!!
I have some gingham I need to stitch on!! I hope that back starts being good to you! Talking about birds.. My mom and me seen a bird land on the window seal today.. He went back and forth like he was looking in and asking where his food was!! Feeder is empty!!! lol... I need to fill their little feeder up tomorrow! Stitching looks great!!!
Cute start! Hope your back feels better soon!

I love your start on the gingham linen. Looks lovely.
I hope your back is feeling better today.Gentle {{{{hugs}}}}
I wish we'd have some more much cooler weather. These mild temps we're having feel so unnatural.
Here's hoping your back improves quickly, but that you relax and enjoy the stitching while it's complaining! Be well.
I like the stitching.
I hope your back feels better soon.
I did take some rub-ons to my TUSAL ornament to put '12 on it.
Great start. I have some of the gingham fabric in my stash but haven't stitched on it yet - looking forward to giving it a try.
Love your projects so far. And thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment on my blog:)
