A Stitchers Heart :)

Hi every one :) thank you all for your lovely comments on my epic blog post .... I promise this one won't be as long ;) ... the kettle has just boiled and the brews are ready for you all ... along with a wee cookie or two as well :)
This week at work has been soooooo busy that I have collapsed most nights in a heap and only summed up enough energy to have a wee chat with my friends on Face book .... but I promised my self that come weekend some serious numb butt was happening  ..... and it did  whoop whoop ... I have a finish :)
Way back many moons ago ... Sally  and I bought "The Stitcher's Heart and the Gentle Stitches " collaboration by LHN and Shakespeare's pedlar with the intention of stitching it on a Wednesday night  each week and posting progress .... well then life got in the way .... I got a full time job and Sally had a few weeks with time on her hands to do nothing but stitch ... so she did ..lol and finished the Stitchers Heart way before me and has been patiently waiting to start the next one while I got mine done .... well I have done it ....whoop whoop .....
I have stitched mine on 32 count Silkweavers fabric called sun down and I shall also stitch the companion piece on that too .... it was a lovely stitch and now all I need to do is cut it out and sew up ....
Now I hope you are all sitting comfortably as I actually put some more stitches into the Romantic Sal too  ... yes I did honest but forgot to take a photo ... I almost finished a band that I had left it at before .... even the stars were shocked as when I went out I saw a shooting star ..lol
DH has kindly painted the box for casting a spell for me and I eagerly started it this morning and had got the measurements to find that stitching on a 28 count fabric (even though it uses 30) was going to make it tooo big to fit EEEEKKKKKKKK ..... so what has a wee mouse got to do but go and order the correct fabric off Karla so that I can get it done hopefully before Halloween ... I said to DD1 there is an initial in it ... do you want it to be yours and she said yes of course I have a claim on anything Halloweenie !!!!
So after I had a wee baskititis session I went to start the "All Hallows Eve" by Waxing Moon .... I pulled out some fabric and Gast thread wrought iron and started to stitch ... well it started to knot and tangle and in disgust I got up and went and started on my ironing pile !!!!!
hopefully by the time I get back to it after I have waffled to you all it will behave itself ???
As tomorrow is Tusal Day I took the photo today as by the time I get home tomorrow night it will be dark and no good to take one ... sooo Master Bentley kindly posed with it .... can you tell from the look he is not impressed by the lack of threads in there either ...lol
I now know my Halloween ornament has got to Shaunterria safely but unsure as to whether she has seen it yet as it was in the back of her DH's car ... so I won't show it just yet  until I know :).....
DH has just put the kettle on so I shall get the photo's ready for you to look at :)
casting a spell box already and painted

the stitchers heart by LHN finished Saturday 13th October with the backing fabric

started on the halloween decorating

awwww isn't he adorable :)

he is not impressed with the tusal amount ...lol

start of the "all hallows "

so there you go folks ..... this week at work promises to be as busy but hopefully I will get some stitching done when I get home .....
take care one and all and happy stitching :) love mouse xxxxx

hope that thread relaxs for you so you can get some stitching done - sometimes if a linen size is a little big i will wash it in hot water to see if it will shrink down to the size i need - cute dog you have there.

Doesn't the time just vanish? My spell box will have to wait for another year, as will my LHN project. I do love how your coordinating fabric matches perfectly! Great eye! Yes, I'd say Bently is less than impressed... did you wake him from his nap? Stitch a bit, rest, and be well.
