well all I can say is what a week :) here at the mouse house I thought it would be a quiet week as Mr Mouse is working nights but no ..... I have played mum's taxi , been clothes shopping with dd2, as she has her awards evening on Friday night from college and she didn't have a thing to wear!!!!! loads of phone calls and emails and arranging to go and meet up with some new members of Friendly Stitchers who just happen to live about 20 mins from the mouse house and meet up in coffee shop inside the card shop in town and I never knew !! so guess where I am going on Monday ;)
well the really good news is ........ I am going to do a test piece to hopefully become a model stitcher for http://periphaeria.com/ ..... Lady Periphaeria put out a call on her blog (link on site) for model stitcher's and I squeaked up and emailed her to see if I would be able to do it :) well the up shot is I am waiting for the postie to bring me a piece to work on, so she can see my stitching in real life :)
DJ is doing Lady Periphaeria's Star SAL which has been released in monthly parts since February and has been teasing me with it since then ..lol ..... well the upshot of it is I've started it ... yeah I know I am a wee bit crazy heheheh but I've got sooooo far ahead with my crazies and other stuff I am working on I thought why not ..lol

Those who are doing it, will notice I haven't put the main colour into the contrast diamonds as I think I shall pop some beads in there:) I have only worked on it about 3.5 hours .... I started it Tuesday night and have only done a bit on it since each night as I have been working on the Celtic Autumn as promised to DD1 during the day :)

I have made some cards but I can't show you them yet as they haven't got to their new homes yet sooooo I shall leave you with a few shots of around my small wee garden ... not sure of the white flowers name but if you rub the leaves it smells of orange :)

Your Jo will just have to wait till I've had them on the walls of the shop for a while lol; mind you if she comes and helps out she can see them as often as she likes!! Love the chickies - I always mistime my visits and they are either eggs or full blown chickens by the time I see them :( Can't wait to see how your SAL goes - and good luck with the model stitching! Hugs, Ally xxx
I'm very excited for you! Your work is lovely and I am quite inspired so I'm sure your work is more than 'model'.
Being a relatively new stitcher I get intimidated showing my work to 'master' but you just might see some of my first silk work soon. :-)
Love seeing all your WIPs and of course the chicks. If it suits your fancy the name 'Parsley' could be a chicken's name. LOL
My you have been a busy Mouse! Model stitching - wow - goodluck!
Your stitching/beading is coming right along. Go Mouse go!
Love the chicks and flowers. Those chicks are just too cute.
Congratulations on your new adventure. I think it would be so much fun to be a mode stitcher so you can see things before other people do.
Your Autumn is looking wonderful. I love those pieces because of the added bling to them.
And sweet pictures of the chicks. They're so darned cute.
Congratulations Mouse - hope the model stitching goes well.
Nice update on your new projects & WIPs
Wishing you well on your new venture into model stitching.
You have a lot pending - Congratulations - Enjoy :)
My goodness, Mouse, you're so, so busy and still find time to stitch! I wish you luck with the model stitching venture...If your Celtic Autumn is any indication, you'll be very successful. She is just gorgeous :)
Congrats on your model stitching adventure. Hope it all goes well. Great updates. I think the plant at the bottom is called Mock Orange but can't think of its proper name.
Cor I am worn out just reading all you have done, your celtic autumn is gorgeous!! Congrats on being a model stitcher (what will it entail???). Looking forward to your next post to see your progress xx
Great WIPs, I really like the alternative colours on Celtic Autumn.

Everything looks smashing Mouse!! Love the chicks. They're so cute. And the color your starting MW with is lovely. Actually, so are you other two colors, lol. And CA is gorgeous! LOL, I guess you didn't know you were doing the set! Maybe you could teach your dd to stitch...

Hello from a new follower :)
You look like a busy stitcher LOL. I'm loving that Celtic Autumn piece. I was actually in my local stitch shop today and saw that one all stitched up waiting to be framed. It is so gorgeous.
I look forward to seeing more of your work. Good Luck on the modelstitching. I'm actually a model stitcher also but for another designer from Canada (X's and Oh's). It is quite an experience. I just wish I had more time to devote to it.
Enjoy your weekend. :D

Well, I finally found the Mouse blog and I love it! You have stitches, plants and chickens (!) - who can ask for anything more!?
Those chicks are sooo cute, I just want to reach into my monitor and pick one up to cuddle with. Guess that I'll have to go home and coze with the parrots instead...
The Caltic Autumn is just wonderful. I love the warm and beautiful color scheme. I can understand that it is a nice break to only stitch with a couple of colors in between all the Celtic confetti!
Model stitching sounds so exciting - I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Take care and squeek, squeek!
Lovely, lovely Celtic Autumn, beautiful colours!
Wow, being a model stitcher would be a new stitching adventure. I wish you much luck with your test piece.
